Dimir Tempo leans heavily on blue cantrips (Ponder, Brainstorm) and Daze/Force of Will, but Hydroblast only counters a spell or destroys a permanent if it's red, so while it can legally target any spell or permanent, it has no effect in this matchup since their list has no red cards (their sideboard Blue Elemental Blast is blue, not red, and Dauthi Voidwalker is black). Deafening Silence slows their disruption-heavy plan by capping them to one noncreature spell a turn, disrupting their Thoughtseize into cantrip sequencing. Stifle is weak here since they have few relevant triggered/activated abilities to target, and Erode is redundant with Swords to Plowshares against their light creature suite. Keep Force of Negation and Force of Will at full count since protecting your own threats from their Daze and Force of Will is critical.

Ocelot Pride Midrange floods the board with token generators, so White Orchid Phantom trades favorably as a flying first striker while also blowing up their Wasteland or a utility land like Karakas, denying their mana disruption plan. Temporary Lockdown and Engineered Explosives are excellent against Ocelot Pride and Ajani's token generation, cleanly sweeping away their low-mana permanents and tokens. Stifle has few good targets against their creature-based plan, Force of Negation is weak since they are proactive and creature-heavy rather than casting the noncreature spells you need to counter, and Erode is cut in favor of more proactive bodies since Swords to Plowshares covers removal duties. Your Wasteland and Karakas remain crucial to fight their manabase and bounce their legendary threats.

Sultai Aluren wins via Show and Tell into Omniscience/Atraxa or the Aluren enchantment enabling free creature casting. While Containment Priest does not shut off Aluren (since creatures cast with Aluren are still cast), it exiles creature threats like Atraxa put onto the battlefield by Show and Tell instead of cast. Consign to Memory can counter Acererak the Archlich's triggered ability or any other triggered ability, giving you a way to interact with their value engines at instant speed for one mana. Stifle is too narrow against their gameplan, and Erode's land-search downside is irrelevant but Swords to Plowshares already covers their creature threats efficiently, so trim both for more proactive disruption. Keep Force of Will and Force of Negation maxed to fight through Veil of Summer turns and disrupt Show and Tell.
