Dimir Tempo is a tempo mirror with a disruptive package built around Thoughtseize, Orcish Bowmasters, and Kaito, Bane of Nightmares — their black removal answers your threats cheaply while generating value. Pyroblast is your best card in this matchup, countering or destroying their key blue permanents like Tamiyo, Murktide Regent, and Brazen Borrower while being uncounterable by Force of Will. Cori-Steel Cutter and Thundering Falls are too slow and do nothing against their proactive gameplan of disruption plus cheap threats — Thoughtseize will strip them anyway. The matchup plays out on the back of your cantrip quality and Wasteland battles, so keeping pressure on their mana while protecting your threats with Daze and Force of Will is paramount. Price of Progress punishes their multi-Underground Sea mana base and can close games they stabilize against.

Oops! All Spells is a pure combo deck that wins on turn 1-2 by milling its entire library with Balustrade Spy or Undercity Informer and reanimating Thassa's Oracle for the win, protected by Pact of Negation and Thoughtseize. Your primary interaction is Force of Will and the extra Force of Negation — counter the Spy or Informer before the mill trigger resolves, as letting it resolve is almost always lethal. Grafdigger's Cage is your best permanent answer, preventing Dread Return from putting Thassa's Oracle onto the battlefield; if you land it early, the opponent has limited outs in Meltdown effects from their own sideboard. Surgical Extraction can strip a key combo piece like Balustrade Spy after a counter, but prioritize hard counters since the deck can have redundant lines. Wasteland is live against the opponent's very few lands, and Daze is excellent since they typically operate on zero or one land, so keep your land-light hands that support your counter suite.

Sneak and Show is a combo deck trying to cheat Emrakul, the Aeons Torn or Atraxa, Grand Unifier into play via Show and Tell or Sneak Attack, and a single uncontested threat usually ends the game immediately. Your primary game plan is to counter their enablers — Force of Will, Daze, and the newly added Pyroblasts all answer Show and Tell and Sneak Attack cleanly, while Consign to Memory handles both at instant speed and also exiles the threat itself if it resolves. Wasteland is live against Ancient Tomb and City of Traitors, slowing their acceleration and buying time to find disruption. Cori-Steel Cutter and Thundering Falls are too slow and don't interact with the combo, making them easy cuts in a race against a two-card kill. Stay on disruption, keep your cantrips to find Force of Will, and don't overextend into their sideboard Pyroblasts — they mirror your reactive suite after board.
