Dimir Tempo is loaded with blue spells — Force of Will, Daze, Brainstorm, Ponder, Murktide Regent, Tamiyo, Flow State — making Pyroblast excellent at countering their Force of Will or destroying a resolved Murktide/Tamiyo. Redirect Lightning can redirect their removal or Kaito's tap ability away from our key threats. Chrome Mox is risky against a deck full of hand disruption (Thoughtseize) since it reveals information and costs us a card. Broadside Bombardiers is clunky when they can pick off our other creatures to deny sacrifice fodder, so we trim it for more targeted interaction while Trinisphere and Chalice of the Void keep choking their cantrip/counter-heavy curve.

Ocelot Pride Midrange wants to go wide with Cat tokens off Ocelot Pride and Ajani, Nacatl Pariah, so Fury's 4 damage divided among multiple targets (cast free via evoke) is excellent at clearing early tokens or killing Guide of Souls before it generates value. The extra Broadside Bombardiers give more sacrifice-based reach to punch through a Static Prison lock. Chancellor of the Annex is weak since their early plays are cheap enough to pay through, and their Thoughtseize/Cabal Therapy-style disruption makes revealing it risky; Eldrazi Confluence's -3 toughness mode is less impactful against a token swarm already below that toughness, so we trim it for more proactive bodies.

Sultai Aluren revolves around resolving Aluren or Show and Tell into Omniscience/Atraxa, Grand Unifier, so naming either with Disruptor Flute taxes their key enabler by {3}, often buying crucial turns. Chalice of the Void and Trinisphere already punish their cheap cantrips (Ponder, Brainstorm, Stock Up) and Lotus Petal, so we lean further into taxing effects. Chancellor of the Annex is clunky and rarely closes the race against a deck aiming to resolve a 7/7 Atraxa or go infinite with Aluren, so it's trimmed for more proactive disruption, and the extra Eldrazi Confluence adds flexibility to reset a troublesome permanent or make a blocker.
