Dimir Tempo is one of the most disruptive matchups you'll face — their post-board configuration adds Consign to Memory, Force of Negation, and Surgical Extraction on top of the already-dense main deck of Thoughtseize, Daze, and Force of Will, giving them multiple angles to disrupt the graveyard combo. Goblin Charbelcher comes in as a critical alternate win condition: since the deck runs zero lands, a single activation will always deal lethal or near-lethal damage, and crucially it bypasses Surgical Extraction entirely since it never touches the graveyard. Your pre-combo sequencing matters enormously — lead with Thoughtseize to strip Force of Will or Force of Negation, then use Pact of Negation to protect the combo attempt itself. Cut the low-impact utility pieces (Jack-o'-Lantern, Lively Dirge, Memory's Journey) and one Fell the Profane, as your goal is to goldfish as fast as possible rather than interact with their board — letting the game go long only benefits them.

The mirror revolves entirely around Leyline of the Void: if it resolves before either player combos, it exiles all milled cards rather than putting them into the graveyard, which means Narcomoeba never triggers, Bridge from Below never creates Zombies, and Dread Return has no fuel — the entire mill-reanimate plan collapses. Bring in all four Leylines to preemptively lock them out, and shift your primary win condition to Goblin Charbelcher, which wins immediately upon activation in this fully landless deck. Force of Vigor and Wear Down come in to destroy their Leylines should they resolve one first, keeping your graveyard line available as a backup if they're Leyline-free. Cut all graveyard-dependent pieces (Narcomoeba, Bridge from Below, Dread Return, Reanimate, Lively Dirge, Poxwalkers) that become near-blank under Leyline, along with the lower-impact utility cards; keep the full discard and mana ritual package to protect or accelerate Charbelcher through their disruption.

WU Tempo is a fast, disruptive deck that looks to counter your key combo pieces with Force of Will, Daze, and Stifle while applying pressure with Phelia and Tamiyo. Your primary goal is to combo off on turn one before they can establish Wasteland and soft lock you out with Teferi, Time Raveler. Leyline of the Void comes in to blank their post-board Rest in Peace and Containment Priest lines, and also disrupts any graveyard-based sideboard hate they try to deploy. Thoughtseize is critical here to clear the way — prioritize stripping Force of Will or Stifle before going off. Trim the lower-impact flex cards (Bridge from Below, Lively Dirge, Jack-o'-Lantern, one Poxwalkers) as they are win-more pieces that don't affect your core storm-through-hate game plan.
