Consign to Memory counters colorless spells outright, such as Sowing Mycospawn and Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger — a huge blowout if we catch them off Malevolent Rumble setups — and its replicate mode covers multiple colorless spells in one turn. Harbinger of the Seas turns Eldrazi Temple, Ugin's Labyrinth, Cavern of Souls, and Boseiju, Who Endures into Islands, disrupting the colorless mana this deck needs even though it runs plenty of Forest. Stubborn Denial is unreliable since we're rarely ahead on board with a 4-power creature while racing their ramp, and Street Wraith's swampwalk is irrelevant against their Forest-heavy manabase. Keep Thoughtseize to strip Fight Rigging and their eldrazi payoffs before they resolve, and Fatal Push to answer early creatures.

Dress Down strips all abilities from creatures, turning off Basking Broodscale's adapt-triggered Eldrazi Spawn generation, buying crucial tempo against their ramp plan. Surgical Extraction can strip every copy of a key colorless threat like Devourer of Destiny or Basking Broodscale from their deck and graveyard once Thoughtseize discards one. Nihil Spellbomb doubles as graveyard hate against their Malevolent Rumble self-mill and as a late cantrip. Stubborn Denial and Drown in the Loch are cut since we're rarely ahead on board or graveyard count early against a deck that ramps past our counters; keep Fatal Push and Thoughtseize for their creatures and nonland setup spells like Ancient Stirrings.

Brotherhood's End's 3-damage sweeper mode wipes their whole early board — it kills Dragon's Rage Channeler, Monastery Swiftspear, and Slickshot Show-Off before prowess or delirium pumps them out of range, resetting the game after they've dumped their hand. Consign to Memory's replicate mode mops up Mishra's Bauble and any other colorless spells they play, and can snipe the token-creation trigger off Cori-Steel Cutter's Flurry ability. Cut Stubborn Denial and Drown in the Loch since Stubborn Denial is easy for them to pay through, and a fair 1-for-1 doesn't keep pace with their card advantage from Expressive Iteration. Keep Fatal Push for their creatures and Thoughtseize for Cori-Steel Cutter and their key noncreature spells.
