Boros Energy is an aggressive go-wide deck that pressures you before you can assemble Goryo's Vengeance, so your priority post-board is maximizing interaction speed. Fatal Push and Celestial Purge (hitting Ajani, Ocelot Pride tokens, or Phlage) give you cheaper, more impactful answers than Prismatic Ending, which is cut because it underperforms against the energy synergy pieces at instant speed. The second Teferi, Time Raveler shuts off their combat tricks and Orim's Chant out of the sideboard while bouncing any Blood Moon that lands. You're keeping the full Thoughtseize and Solitude suite because disrupting their early curve (Ragavan, Guide of Souls, Ocelot Pride) buys the time needed to resolve Atraxa or Griselbrand through Goryo's Vengeance; Force of Negation remains to stop a Goblin Bombardment from invalidating your reanimation plan.

Jeskai Blink runs four main-deck Consign to Memory and supplements it with three Strix Serenade post-board, making the Goryo's reanimator plan nearly impossible to execute consistently; trim down to a single copy as a surprise and pivot to a midrange gameplan built around Psychic Frog and Quantum Riddler backed by counterspell support. Thoughtseize is your highest-priority card in this matchup — lead with it to strip Consign to Memory, High Noon, or Strix Serenade before you attempt to deploy any threat. Teferi, Time Raveler is a backbreaking resolve here, shutting off their instant-speed Solitude, Ephemerate, and Consign to Memory and creating clean windows to land your threats unopposed. Our own Consign to Memory and Mystical Dispute let you win counter wars efficiently — Dispute answers their Quantum Riddler, Solitude, and Teferi at a steep discount. Fatal Push cleanly handles Ragavan and Phelia before they generate meaningful value, and the reduced Prismatic Ending count is offset by the increased interaction density.

Affinity is a fast artifact-based synergy deck that can present a lethal board of tokens and constructs from Urza's Saga and Weapons Manufacturing while using Kappa Cannoneer as a resilient threat that grows out of range quickly. Your primary goal is to land Atraxa or Griselbrand before their board becomes too wide to race, but you need answers for their explosive starts. Wrath of the Skies sweeps their artifact creature boards cleanly, and Fatal Push handles Arcbound Ravager and Emry before they snowball. Prismatic Ending comes out because it is too slow and conditional against a wide token board, and Faithful Mending is cut as the looting value is less critical here — you want to interact and threaten combo rather than dig slowly. Watch for Grafdigger's Cage and Tormod's Crypt post-board; Thoughtseize early to clear graveyard hate before you go for Goryo's Vengeance.
