Missing sideboard cards? The full 15-card sideboard runs about $52.85.
Buy sideboard on ManapoolMono Red Madness races you with Fiery Temper cast for its cheap {R} madness cost and Kessig Flamebreather/Guttersnipe triggers, so life total matters enormously; Weather the Storm's lifegain (copied per spell already cast that turn) helps offset the burn. Hydroblast can counter or destroy Lightning Bolt, Fiery Temper, or a resolved Guttersnipe/Kessig Flamebreather. Note that Relic of Progenitus and other graveyard hate do nothing here since madness cards are discarded to exile, not the graveyard, so don't rely on that plan. Trim Campfire and Unfathomable Truths for more immediate interaction, and prioritize Skred and Lightning Bolt on their damage-trigger creatures.
Dimir Control leans on Counterspell, Snuff Out, and a suite of small tempo creatures like Faerie Seer and Spellstutter Sprite, so Pyroblast is live to counter or destroy their blue spells and creatures on the way in. Their sideboard also brings Sewer-veillance Cam, a small flash artifact, giving Annul a marginal but real target. This matchup is a grindy attrition fight, so keep your card advantage engines like Lorien Revealed and Brainstorm in and simply trim the weakest cards, Pulse of Murasa and Campfire, for more interaction. Watch out for Snuff Out, which can be cast for free off 4 life against your key threats like Murmuring Mystic.
Mono-Blue Terror lives and dies on graveyard density from Thought Scour and Mental Note to cheapen Tolarian Terror and Cryptic Serpent, so Relic of Progenitus is excellent here — exiling their graveyard denies the cost reduction and can strand a Terror in hand. Pyroblast can counter or destroy their blue spells and permanents, including a resolved Delver of Secrets or Tolarian Terror itself. Note Tolarian Terror has Ward {2}, so be ready to pay the tax when targeting it. Cut clunky cards like Pulse of Murasa and Campfire that don't affect the graveyard-fueled game plan, and hold up Counterspell and Dispel to protect your own threats from their permission suite.
