Buy sideboard on ManapoolMagebane Lizard punishes their spell-dense Izzet Cauldron shell every time they cast Consider, Opt, Sleight of Hand, or counterspells, and its 1/4 body survives Fiery Impulse and Prismari Charm's 1 damage mode. Kumano Faces Kakkazan is too slow against their tempo plan, so it comes out. Flowstone Infusion is not worth bringing in: its +2/-2 doesn't kill anything in their deck, since Hearth Elemental (4/5), Eddymurk Crab (5/5), Sunderflock (5/5), and even Stormwing Entity (3/3) all survive it. Monstrous Rage stays in. Keep Burst Lightning and Reckless Rage in, but expect their big creatures to survive them, since most have toughness 5 and 4 damage won't finish them. Use them on Stormwing Entity or Burst Lightning to the face. Watch out for Stubborn Denial, which becomes a hard counter for your noncreature spells when they control a creature with power 4 or greater, such as Hearth Elemental or Eddymurk Crab, and for Fading Hope tempo plays.
Golgari's big bodies (Sheoldred at 4/5, Graveyard Trespasser at 3/3, Sentinel of the Nameless City at 3/4) dodge our small burn, so Scorching Shot's 5 damage and Redcap Melee's 4 damage to creature or planeswalker are needed to profitably trade with Sheoldred and Professor Dellian Fel. Monstrous Rage and Kumano Faces Kakkazan die to their efficient removal (Fatal Push, Abrupt Decay, Go for the Throat) before paying off, so they come out. Keep pressure high and race before Sheoldred's life-drain trigger snowballs; Thoughtseize and discard will strip our hand, so play around losing key burn. Watch for Abrupt Decay on Monastery Swiftspear/Soul-Scar Mage early.
Magebane Lizard punishes their noncreature spells (Storm the Festival, Kiora, Invasion of Ixalan) and blocks profitably against their small creatures like mana dorks, but it also damages us when we cast noncreature spells, so sequence carefully. Flowstone Infusion is efficient removal for mana dorks (Elvish Mystic, Llanowar Elves), Outcaster Trailblazer (4/2), and anything X/2 or less they ramp into early. It does not kill Old-Growth Troll (a 4/4 becomes a 6/2) or Cavalier of Thorns (5/6), so don't count on it for those. Monstrous Rage and Kumano Faces Kakkazan are cut because this matchup is a race against a bigger late game, not a combat-trick grind, and we need interaction over incremental pump. Prioritize killing mana dorks on sight to slow their ramp into Storm the Festival and Nykthos.
