This is a red-based aggressive Goblins deck, making Hydroblast a premium answer that can counter their red spells or destroy a single red permanent they land, such as Siege-Gang Commander. Exalted Angel is a fantastic top-end against a deck full of small creatures: its flying body blocks profitably and the lifegain buys time against Mogg Fanatic pings. Intuition is too slow and too easily blown out by their aggression, and Mana Leak rarely taxes an opponent this proactive out of a cheap threat, so both are trimmed. Focus on stabilizing behind Parallax Wave and Swords to Plowshares while your new top-end takes over the game.

Their whole plan hinges on resolving Stifle to push Phyrexian Dreadnought through, so Meddling Mage naming Stifle can single-handedly strand their combo. Abeyance is excellent both offensively and defensively: cast on your turn it shuts off Stifle, Counterspell, and Foil for a turn, letting your own Replenish or Opalescence resolve clean. Seal of Cleansing has limited targets here, and Intuition is too slow when they can be attacking for 12 as early as turn two, so both come out. Keep your counterspell suite up to protect your own game plan while Meddling Mage locks down their key interaction piece.

In the mirror, Meddling Mage naming Replenish is often game-winning, denying their reanimation turn while you keep your own copies live. Abeyance protects your own combo turn from their Swords to Plowshares or a surprise Seal of Cleansing activation, since it shuts off instants and non-mana abilities alike. Intuition is much weaker in the mirror because your opponent chooses what you get, and Frantic Search is redundant card selection when both players are racing to assemble the same combo, so both are trimmed for proactive disruption. Keep Seal of Cleansing in to fight over Opalescence and Parallax Wave once both sides start reanimating enchantments.
