BRG's midrange plan features small value creatures like Gene Pollinator, The Sackville-Bagginses, and Umbral Collar Zealot, so Chainsaw's immediate 3 damage cleanly answers most of their early board while growing into a bigger threat as creatures die on both sides. Bofur's adventure protects our key creature from their removal suite (Deadly Precision, Witherbloom Charm). Raubahn's ward is less relevant against a deck without much direct removal targeting, and its Equipment-attaching trigger is redundant with our existing plan, so we trim it for more immediate impact. Doc Ock's Tentacles remains too slow and situational against their proactive curve.

This matchup is a race where we need to close games before Hearth Elemental and Sunderflock take over; Rest in Peace shuts off Hearth Elemental's and Eddymurk Crab's cost reduction by exiling the instants and sorceries that fuel them, while also denying any other graveyard value. Doc Ock's Tentacles is too clunky since it only triggers off 5-drops we rarely have, so it comes out for cheaper interaction. Bofur gives us a proactive one-drop lifelinker plus a protective adventure instant to save a key threat from Prismari Charm bounce or Burst Lightning, and Basilisk Collar turns any attacker into a removal spell against their elementals regardless of size. Keep the low curve and pressure application high since they will eventually stabilize with card selection if given time.

Mono-Green Landfall wants to go over the top with Mightform Harmonizer, Mossborn Hydra, and Bristly Bill counters, so Chainsaw's immediate 3 damage answers most of their early creatures (Llanowar Elves, Sazh's Chocobo) while growing into a real threat later. Rest in Peace is excellent here since it strips Icetill Explorer and Mole Man's graveyard-recursion of lands and denies Esper Origins' flashback. Raubahn's ward is weak against their creature-based board so we trim it, and Doc Ock's Tentacles is too slow against a deck that curves out with cheap threats; we want to be proactive and race before Sapling Nursery or double Mightform Harmonizer buries us.
