Dimir Tempo wants to cantrip into a resilient threat while protecting it with Force of Will and Daze; Orcish Bowmasters punishes their Brainstorm/Ponder/Bauble-heavy cantrip suite while also blocking their small creatures. Force of Negation gives us free interaction on their turn, letting us counter their countermagic or disruption before we take our Doomsday turn without spending mana. Thoughtseize is weaker here since they're proactive with cheap threats rather than reliant on one key card, and our own Daze is less impactful once both sides are racing with tapped-out turns. Keep the full combo core intact since we still want to resolve Doomsday quickly before Wasteland strips our mana.

Ocelot Pride Midrange goes wide fast with Cat tokens and Voice of Victory, so we need cheap, efficient removal rather than tempo plays like Daze that don't stop a growing board. Swords to Plowshares answers their best individual threats (Ajani, Ocelot Pride itself, Amped Raptor) and Erode cleanly answers Ajani, Nacatl Pariah's planeswalker side or any other key creature or planeswalker, with conceding a land an acceptable price against their proactive plan. Street Wraith comes out since it doesn't block or interact and we'd rather have real answers to their board. Their Orcish Bowmasters punishes our cantrips, so play around it by sequencing draws carefully and closing the game quickly.

Eldrazi's Chalice of the Void on 0 or 1 blanks Lotus Petal and other cheap spells, and while it does not counter Daze given its mana value of 2, Daze is still a liability here. Force of Negation lets us protect our combo pieces on the opponent's turn for free, stopping Kozilek's Command aimed at our graveyard or a key creature, and can be cast off any blue card even if Chalice locks out our cheap spells. Bowmasters and Barrowgoyf are not needed since Eldrazi has few cantrips to punish and our creatures trade poorly into their removal-heavy plan anyway. Keep everything else the same and prioritize resolving Doomsday before a second Chalice or a Thought-Knot Seer strips our combo piece.
