The EPIC Storm chains cheap rituals and cantrips into a storm-count payoff like Tendrils of Agony or Echo of Eons, so Mindbreak Trap is excellent here since it can be cast for free once they've cast three or more spells in a turn, exiling their key payoff spell on the stack. Tormod's Crypt can proactively strip Lion's Eye Diamond-fueled graveyard plans and denies flashback on Echo of Eons. Crop Rotation and Expedition Map are cut since they're too slow to matter in a combo race where we need live interaction. Trinisphere remains one of our best cards in the matchup, taxing their one-mana rituals and cantrips severely.
