Dimir Tempo wants to strip our hand with Thoughtseize and then stick a resilient threat like Murktide Regent, Kaito, or a flipped Tamiyo behind Force of Will and Daze. Static Prison exiles threats like Murktide Regent until it leaves the battlefield, and Swords to Plowshares cleanly answers Murktide or Nethergoyf before it grows out of control. We trim Pithing Needle and Karakas, which have no great target here, along with a couple of the more replaceable artifact mana pieces (Mox Opal, Manifold Key) since they're less essential once we're prioritizing interaction over raw speed against their disruption-heavy shell.
