Doomsday wants to assemble a five-card library with Thassa's Oracle and Lion's Eye Diamond and win on the spot, so our best tool is Mindbreak Trap, which can exile the Doomsday sorcery itself or the Thassa's Oracle combo piece for zero mana once they've committed to their turn. Tormod's Crypt strips their graveyard as a backup answer, and Surgical Extraction can target a key piece like Lion's Eye Diamond once it hits the graveyard to remove all copies from their hand, graveyard, and library at once. We cut Pithing Needle and Karakas, which have no relevant targets, and a couple of Plains since we need to hold up interaction more than we need extra basics.
