Sultai Aluren revolves around resolving the Aluren enchantment to flash in a chain of cheap creatures, backed up by Acererak the Archlich alongside Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath escaping from the graveyard. Static Prison is excellent here since it can exile Aluren itself and shut off their whole combo engine. Tormod's Crypt strips their graveyard, denying Uro's escape cost and any escape fuel they've built up. We cut Pithing Needle, Karakas, and a couple of artifact mana rocks that add little against a deck we're trying to out-interact rather than out-race.
