Izzet Affinity mirrors our artifact-heavy manabase with Chalice of the Void, Mox Opal, and Thoughtcast, so Disruptor Flute naming Thoughtcast or Mishra's Bauble slows their card advantage engine significantly. Mycosynth Lattice is a double-edged sword here: it turns all their lands into artifacts too, which means Karn, the Great Creator's static ability also shuts off their lands' activated abilities, and it turns on metalcraft for our Urza's Workshop. Defense Grid is risky against a deck with low-curve artifact spells they can jam on their own turn anyway, and Expedition Map and a Manifold Key are low-impact here. Karakas stays in because Emry, Lurker of the Loch and Council of Reeds are both legendary creatures it can bounce. Watch for their Chalice of the Void: set to 0 it counters our Lotus Petal, and set to 2 it counters our Grim Monolith, so sequence Urza's Saga and Mox Opal carefully.
