Maverick leans on Stitcher's Supplier to mill itself and cast Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis from the graveyard via delve, so Leyline of the Void, ideally starting on the battlefield from our opening hand, exiles those cards instead and denies that graveyard plan. It also keeps Wight of the Reliquary and Moonshadow from growing off their graveyard. Dismember is efficient removal for Wight of the Reliquary or an Orcish Bowmasters. Lotus Petal and the extra Manifold Key copies are the cuts since this matchup is a grindy disruption battle rather than a speed race, and we have no immediate need for redundant mana acceleration when Wasteland is likely to target our Ancient Tomb anyway. Keep Karakas live since it can bounce their legendary Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis or other legendary threats at no mana cost beyond the land itself.
