UB is a Thoughtseize-and-cantrips shell that uses Stormchaser's Talent and Flow State to find its way to a resilient clock while Force of Will and Daze protect the plan for free. Defense Grid punishes them for holding up instant-speed interaction like Consign to Memory or Fatal Push on your turn, letting your Urza's Saga and Chalice of the Void deployment go uncontested more often. Dismember answers whatever creature threat they eventually stick, and it dodges most of their removal suite since it's cast at instant speed for as little as one mana. Trim Tormod's Crypt, Manifold Key, Skateboard, and a Mystic Forge, since this matchup rewards proactive disruption over passive graveyard hate.
