UBG is a reanimator deck that dumps Griselbrand, Atraxa, Grand Unifier, or Archon of Cruelty into the graveyard via Faithless Looting before reanimating with Reanimate, Animate Dead, or Shallow Grave, so Leyline of the Void is excellent: if it's in our opening hand, we may begin the game with it on the battlefield, shutting off their entire graveyard plan before they even start. Tormod's Crypt is a cheap backup answer if Leyline isn't drawn, but unlike an opening-hand Leyline it has to be cast from hand, so their Thoughtseize, Unmask, and Cabal Therapy can strip it first. Defense Grid, Expedition Map, Mystic Forge, Karakas, and one Manifold Key are cut since they do little against a graveyard-reanimation gameplan, while Pithing Needle stays in because it can name Griselbrand and shut off its draw-seven ability. Prioritize deploying graveyard hate before turn two, since their fastest lines can reanimate as early as turn one off Dark Ritual.
