Jeskai Artifacts depends on Urza's Saga, Goblin Welder, and Goblin Engineer looping cheap artifacts into play, so Disruptor Flute naming Goblin Welder makes each Welder cost {3} more to cast and shuts off the activated ability of any Welder already on the battlefield, since that ability is not a mana ability. Faerie Macabre can discard itself to exile artifact cards like Mishra's Bauble or Lotus Petal from their graveyard, disrupting Goblin Engineer and Emry, Lurker of the Loch recursion loops for no mana investment. Our existing Wasteland is already excellent against their Urza's Saga-heavy manabase, and we keep it at full count. Swords to Plowshares and Skyclave Apparition remain key answers to their few creature threats like Pinnacle Emissary and Emry, Lurker of the Loch.
