Wrath of the Skies is a flexible sweeper we can tune to kill their Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student while leaving our bigger threats like Overlord of the Balemurk alive, though we must be mindful of our own token-free curve when casting it. Yorion, Sky Nomad gives extra value by blinking our ETB creatures (Skyclave Apparition, Solitude, Recruiter of the Guard) for another round of disruption against their grindy, card-advantage-heavy control shell. Witch Enchanter and Pre-War Formalwear are cut as too passive against a deck full of countermagic and efficient removal (Swords to Plowshares, Leyline Binding) that outvalues our slower plays. Thoughtseize remains critical to strip Force of Will or a key threat before they can protect it.
