UB is a streamlined tempo deck using Thoughtseize and Dark Ritual to power out The Fantasticar or Stormchaser's Talent value while protecting its plan with Force of Will and Daze. Erode is cheap, instant-speed removal that handles their threats without overextending into their countermagic. Surgical Extraction is excellent against their graveyard-fueled cards like The Fantasticar or a delved Murktide Regent brought in post-board, and can strip a key spell from hand after a discard exchange. Disruptor Flute and two Skyclave Apparition are cut because this matchup is about efficient, cheap answers rather than value trades against a deck this streamlined.
