Dimir Control vs Jeskai Artifacts

Jeskai Artifacts assembles a critical mass of cheap artifacts via Goblin Welder, Goblin Engineer, Emry, Lurker of the Loch, and Urza's Saga to generate explosive value, so Damping Sphere directly punishes their habit of casting many cheap artifact spells in a single turn by taxing each subsequent one. Unlicensed Hearse can exile artifact creature cards like Emry or Phyrexian Dragon Engine from their graveyard, cutting off recursion targets for Goblin Welder and Goblin Engineer. Surgical Extraction proactively strips a copy of Emry, Goblin Welder, or another key artifact piece once discarded or milled, since many of their threats are fragile 1/1s and 1/2s that die to minor interaction anyway. Thoughtseize is weaker here since much of their plan involves resolving cheap artifacts they can rebuy rather than protecting one key card, so stripping a single artifact from hand is less impactful than disrupting their engine directly with artifact hate.
