Doomsday is a combo deck that assembles a five-card library via the namesake Doomsday sorcery, then wins with Thassa's Oracle, so proactive disruption and fast clocks matter. Dauthi Voidwalker is excellent, applying an evasive clock while permanently exiling anything that would go to their graveyard, disrupting potential Doomsday piles and graveyard synergies. The extra Fatal Push copies help remove Thassa's Oracle (mana value 2) before it can resolve and win the game, which is the single most important removal target in the matchup. Ponder and Wail of the Forgotten are cut since we need to prioritize proactive pressure and interaction over card selection and marginal value plays against a combo deck trying to go off quickly.
