Dragon's Rage Channeler (mana value 1) and the Monk tokens that Cori-Steel Cutter makes (mana value 0) both die to Fatal Push even without Revolt, so the extra copies give you more cheap, efficient answers to their early pressure. Push can't hit Murktide Regent, which has mana value 7, so don't count on it for that threat. Barrowgoyf's deathtouch and lifelink let it trade favorably with their ground creatures and claw back life against a deck built to race with Lightning Bolt and Cori-Steel Cutter tokens. Nihil Spellbomb and Pithing Needle are narrow, low-impact cards here, and Skateboard does little in this matchup, so all three come out. Witherbloom Command comes out only to make room, since the incoming Fatal Pushes are cheaper and instant-speed answers to their small creatures. Keep Thoughtseize and Wasteland maxed to strip their hand and punish their nonbasic-heavy manabase.
