Collector Ouphe is excellent here since it shuts down the activated abilities of their artifacts, including Mystic Forge, Grim Monolith, Manifold Key, Giant's Boulder, and The One Ring's draw engine, all of which they rely on to assemble their combo. It does not affect Karn, the Great Creator, since Karn is a planeswalker rather than an artifact. Force of Vigor can destroy up to two artifacts and/or enchantments at once, such as Mystic Forge and Grim Monolith, or Giant's Boulder and their Urza's Saga, breaking up their engine before they take over the game with Mystic Forge-enabled casting. The One Ring is indestructible, so Force of Vigor can't remove it, but Collector Ouphe stops its tap ability. We cut Once Upon a Time and a Formidable Speaker since proactive artifact disruption is far more valuable than card selection against this combo-control deck. Try to deploy Collector Ouphe as early as possible since it neutralizes much of their artifact mana acceleration and many of their engine pieces at once.
