Izzet Delver wants to use Wasteland and fetchlands to tempo us off mana while Dragon's Rage Channeler and Murktide Regent apply pressure; Damping Sphere slows their fetch-crack-into-double-spell starts and taxes their heavy cantrip chains. Abrade is a clean answer to Dragon's Rage Channeler or Cori-Steel Cutter before it generates Monk tokens. We cut a couple of Lotus Petals and an Urza's Bauble since fast mana matters less when we need to grind through their disruption rather than race. Keep Harbinger of the Seas lines in mind if drawn — it strips Wasteland's ability and shuts off their fetches, Mystic Sanctuary, and Thundering Falls, though it also turns off our own Ancient Tomb-style/Seat of the Synod extra mana and saccs Urza's Saga, so only deploy it once the Saga has already paid off.
