Colorless Tron/Shops aims to lock you out with Trinisphere and Karn, the Great Creator before you can assemble your combo, so speed and disruption are paramount. Magus of the Moon is a powerful threat that also shuts off Urza's lands and Planar Nexus, buying time to find Show and Tell or Sneak Attack. Abrade answers key permanents like Trinisphere, Pithing Needle, Disruptor Flute, and Urza's Saga tokens that would otherwise stall your gameplan. Grafdigger's Cage comes in to preempt Leyline of the Void from their sideboard while doing little harm to your own strategy. Flusterstorm and Hexing Squelcher are trimmed since the opponent runs few or no counterspells, and Archon of Cruelty is the weakest of your haymakers against a deck that can ramp into its own gigantic threats.
