Beanstalk Control is a slow big-mana deck built around Urza lands, Trinisphere, Karn, and The One Ring, so Lavinia, Azorius Renegade is devastating since it stops them from casting any noncreature spell with mana value greater than the number of lands they control, which keeps The One Ring, Karn, and Ugin off the table until their land count catches up. Erode gives us clean answers to Karn, the Great Creator and Ugin, Eye of the Storms. We trim Stifle since their mana engine runs on mana abilities, which Stifle can't target, so it is narrower here than usual, and cut Force of Negation since we'd rather lean on Lavinia's restriction and hard removal than tempo-counter their spells. Wasteland remains critical to strip their nonbasic Urza lands and slow their mana engine.
