Death and Taxes leans heavily on Stoneforge Mystic tutoring Equipment and Aether Vial cheating creatures into play, so Containment Priest is excellent, exiling anything they cheat in off Vial or reanimation-style effects like Pre-War Formalwear. Erode gives clean, unconditional removal for their efficient threats like Skyclave Apparition and Thalia, Guardian of Thraben. Stifle gets much weaker here since Aether Vial and Karakas activated abilities are the main abilities, and even countering a Vial activation only stops one activation, so trim to make room. Force of Negation is a low-impact tax against a deck that plays few must-counter noncreature spells outside occasional Wrath of the Skies from their sideboard, so cut a copy for proactive answers. Quantum Riddler is a slow, clunky draw engine against an aggressive low-curve creature deck, so one copy comes out for a second Erode to keep pace with their board development.
