Jeskai Artifacts relies on cheap creatures and engines (Goblin Welder, Goblin Engineer, Emry, Lurker of the Loch, Urza's Saga) to assemble value loops; Consign to Memory counters their many colorless artifact spells (Mishra's Bauble, Lotus Petal, Mox Opal) for a single mana, and can also counter triggered abilities such as Goblin Engineer's and Emry's enter triggers. Erode gives us unconditional instant-speed removal for their key creatures like Loki, God of Mischief or Phyrexian Dragon Engine. We trim Force of Negation since their deck isn't built around one single noncreature spell to Force away, and shave a Prismatic Ending since it is a sorcery-speed answer and Erode's instant-speed removal is a better fit against their creatures.
