Beanstalk Control leans heavily on artifacts, with Karn, the Great Creator, The One Ring, Trinisphere, and Giant's Boulder as the backbone. Force of Vigor is a strong answer to Trinisphere, Giant's Boulder, and Expedition Map, destroying up to two artifacts at instant speed. On their turn it can be cast by exiling a green card from our hand rather than paying its mana cost. It can't touch The One Ring (indestructible) or Karn (a planeswalker), so don't count on it for those. Damping Sphere caps their big Urzatron mana, since any land tapped for two or more mana produces only {C}, and taxes their multi-spell turns (Stock Up into Kozilek's Command, etc.), slowing their engine without hurting our single-spell-per-turn Loam/Saga plan much. Pithing Needle and Grafdigger's Cage are the weakest slots here: Cage has nothing to hit without a reanimation package on their side, and Needle only shuts off the activated abilities of a single named card. Trinisphere does raise the floor of our own cheap spells, so sequence Crop Rotation and Life from the Loam around it carefully.
