The EPIC Storm needs to resolve Burning Wish, Beseech the Mirror, or Echo of Eons to find and cast Tendrils of Agony. Their deck is light on Islands, but Choke still disrupts their blue mana from Underground Sea and Undercity Sewers (and any Island those fetchlands find), so it can strand blue-hungry plays like Brainstorm and Echo of Eons. Endurance, evoked by exiling a green card from hand, puts their graveyard on the bottom of their library, denying the flashback on Echo of Eons and disrupting graveyard-based lines like Gaea's Will and Runehorn Hellkite. Our land disruption (Wasteland, Ghost Quarter, Boseiju) remains crucial to deny their nonbasic mana sources like Commercial District and their dual lands, so we keep those untouched.
