Endurance is a flash threat with a 3/4 Reach body that can block Tamiyo, and it can be cast for free by evoking it (exiling a green card from hand) when you need to dodge tempo. It is still a spell, so Force of Will and their other counterspells can answer it, and Leyline Binding can exile it. Sheoldred's Edict is cheap instant-speed interaction that doesn't target. It makes them sacrifice a nontoken creature such as Quantum Riddler or Tamiyo, or a flipped Tamiyo planeswalker, though they can still counter it with Force of Will, Spell Pierce, or Force of Negation. Sylvan Safekeeper and Scythecat Cub are too passive against a control deck full of efficient removal (Swords to Plowshares, Leyline Binding) and card advantage engines like Up the Beanstalk. Keep Thoughtseize in to proactively strip Force of Will or their key threats before they land.
