The EPIC Storm wants to chain rituals (Dark Ritual, Cabal Ritual) and cash in Lion's Eye Diamond or Beseech the Mirror into Tendrils of Agony for lethal, and Leyline of the Void shuts off Echo of Eons and any graveyard-based recursion (Lion's Eye Diamond into the yard, Beseech the Mirror flashback lines) while being uncounterable once in play pregame. Sheoldred's Edict is mostly a sideboard trap here since they rarely commit a creature threat, but it does snipe The Fantasticar if that's their line, so weigh it as a secondary include; Wasteland and Thoughtseize remain your best tools, stripping a key combo piece or denying the mana that fuels their storm turn. Fatal Push and Elvish Reclaimer are largely irrelevant since they have almost no creatures worth killing and no lands worth denying via Reclaimer's utility. Prioritize disruption and Wasteland-ing their nonbasics to slow the clock enough for Thoughtseize to find the last piece.
