Doomsday wins through a single turn combo activation (usually Thassa's Oracle or Lion's Eye Diamond into the pile), so our discard suite of Thoughtseize, Cabal Therapy, and Unmask is already excellent at stripping their key piece or Force of Will before they go off. Surgical Extraction lets us follow up a Therapy or Thoughtseize by exiling their last copy of a combo piece, effectively Time Walking them for a turn while we resolve our own reanimation plan. Raph & Mikey and extra Collective Brutality come out since they're too slow and don't interact with the combo, while Chain of Smog gives another way to strip their hand of countermagic. Race them: our clock with Griselbrand or Atraxa is often faster than their setup if we disrupt the first Doomsday attempt.
