This is a pure speed race since both decks reanimate/cheat in Atraxa, Grand Unifier and other giant threats, so Surgical Extraction is excellent to strip a key piece like their Acererak the Archlich or disrupt their Aluren engine pieces from hand and graveyard. Cutting some Shallow Grave and Collective Brutality trims our slower or situational cards since the matchup is often decided by who resolves their payoff first and Thoughtseize/Unmask need to stay in to disrupt their Show and Tell or Aluren. Witherbloom Apprentice is a low-opportunity-cost body that chips in life swing if the game goes long.
