The extra Force of Negation copies help us fight through their counterspell suite to resolve The One Ring, Karn, or Ugin, which are our best angles since they dodge their cheap creature removal. Barrowgoyf is a resilient, lifegaining body that punishes their graveyard-heavy deck and blocks well against Nethergoyf and Murktide. Sink into Stupor and Giant's Boulder are too slow against a deck already applying pressure and disruption early, and Thundertrap Trainer's card selection is low-impact when we need bodies and counterspells instead.
