Faerie Macabre exiles cards from their graveyard to deny Goblin Engineer and Goblin Welder targets and to stop Emry's mill-based setup from being recurred. Witch Enchanter is cut since its single destroy trigger only answers one artifact in a deck full of them, while Disruptor Flute and Faerie Macabre provide more repeatable disruption. Lotus Petal is trimmed slightly since this matchup rewards durable disruption over raw speed against their grindy artifact shell.
