Dimir Tempo wants to land cheap threats like Moonshadow, Nethergoyf, Bilbo and Kaito, then protect them with Daze and Force of Will. Archive Arbiter gives us a flying 4/4 body that blocks well. Its enters-the-battlefield destroy mode can only hit a noncreature, nonland permanent, so it is not an answer to their creatures. On our own turn it can take out Kaito, who is only a creature during his controller's turn, or a Mishra's Bauble. Its life gain mode helps against Thoughtseize, Bowmasters pings and fetchland damage. Ensnaring Bridge helps stall out their aggressive creatures while our hand stays full of artifacts. Transmute Artifact is awkward against Force of Will and Daze since it telegraphs our best piece into a counter, and Mishra's Research Desk is replaceable value that doesn't matter if Thoughtseize strips our hand. Keep the core combo engine intact since we still need to assemble Mystic Forge/Paradox Engine turns to outrace their disruption.
