Chalice of the Void is the single biggest problem card from Eldrazi, countering our Lotus Petals, Grim Monoliths, and other cheap artifacts when it is set to the matching mana value. Disruptor Flute can name Chalice of the Void to make it cost {3} more to cast, which slows the lock down but does not stop its counter trigger once it resolves. Flute can also name Eye of Ugin to shut off its non-mana tutor ability. A second Mystic Forge gives extra redundancy to dig through the top of our library and rebuild after a Chalice lock. Transmute Artifact is less reliable when Chalice of the Void set to 2 can counter it, so trim some copies; Mishra's Research Desk is replaced by the more impactful Mystic Forge.
