Omni-Tell wants to resolve Show and Tell into Omniscience or Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, so Disruptor Flute named on Show and Tell taxes their key enabler by three additional mana, often putting it out of reach on the turn they want to combo off. Liquimetal Coating can turn Omniscience or another key permanent into an artifact, letting Karn's abilities interact with something otherwise untouchable by our removal suite. Our maindeck Trinisphere remains a premier disruption tool since it taxes their entire suite of cheap cantrips like Ponder and Brainstorm. Tezzeret is trimmed since this matchup rewards proactive taxation and disruption over slow incremental value.
