Sultai Aluren is trying to assemble Show and Tell into Omniscience or cheat in Atraxa and Acererak via Aluren, so this is a race where our own combo speed and card selection matter most. The second Mystic Forge copy gives redundancy to keep finding our artifact combo pieces even through their Force of Will, while Mycosynth Lattice turns all our lands into additional mana sources of any color and lets our artifact-heavy deck function even if key nonbasic lands get disrupted, smoothing our color requirements for a faster combo kill. We cut the single Mox Opal and Mishra's Research Desk since metalcraft setup and card-advantage grinding are less important than simply assembling our engine before they land Omniscience or a reanimated Atraxa.
