The EPIC Storm is a glass-cannon combo deck trying to resolve Tendrils of Agony or Beseech the Mirror off a storm count fueled by Lion's Eye Diamond and Lotus Petal, with no real way to interact with our board once we are ahead, so the race is mostly about who assembles their engine first. A second Mystic Forge gives extra redundant access to our draw engine to find our own fast mana. Ensnaring Bridge is mostly a backup plan since they have few creatures, but it can buy a turn if they try to go over the top with Runehorn Hellkite; the real plan is simply to be faster and resolve our own engine before they can combo off, since they have very little disruption for our artifacts beyond Veil of Summer protecting their own spells. Keep the full mana base since speed and consistency matter most here.
