Null Rod is outstanding against this artifact-heavy control deck, shutting off Giant's Boulder's mana ability. Trinisphere stays on, but their Lotus Petal, Expedition Map, and The One Ring's draw ability are neutralized. Surgical Extraction needs a card already in a graveyard to target, so it comes online once a copy of Stock Up or another key card reaches their graveyard. It can then exile the remaining copies from their hand and library. Goblin Bombardment has no creatures worth sacrificing into against this nearly creatureless control deck, and Hexing Squelcher trades poorly into their removal-light but grindy game plan, so both are cut. Keep applying early pressure since Trinisphere taxes their own cheap artifacts too, and our curve is built to play through it better than most decks.
