Containment Priest is a strong hate piece against blink-return effects (since the found creature from Recruiter of the Guard is still cast normally, this doesn't stop that tutor), and adds another efficient flash body to the mirror-ish creature battle. Null Rod turns off Aether Vial entirely, a critical piece of their curve-out plan. We trim narrow, low-impact creatures since this matchup comes down to efficient removal and board presence. Keep the full core engine — Swords to Plowshares and Thalia, Guardian of Thraben both fight for tempo against their similarly disruptive, white-based game plan.
