Pyroblast counters or destroys their blue spells and permanents including Force of Will, Brainstorm, Ponder, Stifle, Daze, Quantum Riddler, Tamiyo, and Consign to Memory, making it extremely efficient against their shell. Surgical Extraction can strip their Brainstorm or Ponder copies and also exile cards tied to their Tamiyo's investigate Clues if they hit the graveyard, denying consistency. Static Prison and Goblin Bombardment are less necessary against a deck that doesn't flood the board with cheap creatures. Keep Swords to Plowshares for Phelia and Tamiyo, and lean on Wasteland to punish their Karakas and nonbasic-heavy manabase.
