Death and Taxes plays very little countermagic, so Spell Pierce and excess Flusterstorm copies are weak; they instead disrupt us with Thoughtseize, Wasteland, and a wide, resilient creature board built around Stoneforge Mystic and Aether Vial. Grafdigger's Cage is strong against their Pre-War Formalwear, which returns a creature from their graveyard to the battlefield, and against any other recursive threats, while Echoing Truth can bounce a token or Equipment-laden threat. Keep Veil of Summer in for protection against Thoughtseize.
