Null Rod is a backbreaking answer to this deck's Grim Monolith and Expedition Map, crippling their fast mana and artifact toolbox plan. Pithing Needle can name Karn, the Great Creator directly to stop it from fetching their sideboard silver bullets. Sundering Eruption and some copies of Shatterskull Smashing are less necessary as removal since this deck is light on early creatures, and our Magus of the Moon/Blood Moon package already punishes their heavy Urza-land and nonbasic-heavy manabase. Chalice of the Void on 0 or 1 is very strong against their sequence of 0-cost and 1-cost mana artifacts and cantrips.
