Null Rod is fantastic against their Aether Vial and equipment, shutting down their activated abilities. Chalice of the Void is weak since their key cheap spells (Swords to Plowshares, Thoughtseize) cost 1 mana, while Solitude has mana value 5 even when evoked, overlapping too much with our own cheap spells. Pithing Needle can be named on Karakas to prevent them from bouncing their legendary creatures like Phelia, Exuberant Shepherd. Blood Moon and Magus of the Moon are excellent against their heavily nonbasic, utility-land-dependent manabase (Karakas, Marsh Flats, Prismatic Vista, Scrubland), cutting off white and black mana sources.
